The DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro is a hands-free LED mask with up to 100 lights that switch between red and blue wavelengths.

Sessions are 3 minutes, and the mask shuts off automatically. The brand says it's FDA-cleared for wrinkles and acne. We haven't matched the exact product to a 510(k) record yet. GlowSpec's data lists five wavelengths and a 75 mW/cm² claimed output.

It offers both a red and a blue mode with short sessions. It has fewer LEDs than many newer masks, and we haven't found a third-party power measurement yet. A gold limited edition was on sale on the brand site when we checked.

FDA statusBrand says cleared
Brand says FDA-cleared (Evident describes a dual clearance for wrinkles and acne); not yet matched to a 510(k) number.

"Brand says cleared" means the brand or a retailer says it's FDA-cleared, but we haven't matched this exact product to a 510(k) record. FDA clearance is not FDA approval, and a listed specification isn't proof that a device works. How we check FDA status.

Terms on this page

nm
Nanometres, the unit for a light's wavelength (its colour). Red light is roughly 620–700 nm; near-infrared is above 700 nm.
mW/cm²
Milliwatts per square centimetre: how much light power reaches each square centimetre of skin (irradiance).
510(k)
The FDA premarket notification route. A cleared 510(k) means the FDA found the device substantially equivalent to one already on the market. It is not FDA approval.
