Microneedling pens

Microneedling pens are motorised pens with fine needles that pierce the skin. The pens listed here are sold for home use, but the FDA sources we cite do not show ordinary over-the-counter clearance for home use.

Needle depth is how far the needles go into the skin, in millimetres (mm). Piercing the skin carries infection and scarring risks. Talk to a licensed clinician before using any microneedling device.

Microneedling pens pierce the skin. That carries real risks of infection and scarring. The pens listed here are sold for home use, but the FDA sources we cite do not show ordinary over-the-counter clearance for home use of any of them. One pen (Dr. Pen A20) has a clearance for prescription use only.

Talk to a licensed clinician before using any microneedling device. Never share or reuse cartridges, and use only sterile, single-use needles. Read the FDA consumer guidance.
