The Dr. Pen M8S is a newer M8 microneedling pen with an updated three-snap cartridge connection.

Dr. Pen describes 18-pin cartridges with an N-shaped design and a battery level indicator. The box includes the pen, two round nano-pin cartridges and a USB cable; the brand's current offer adds extra cartridges and a derma stamp. The product page says 'For professional use only.'

It's aimed at professionals rather than home users. The FDA sources we cite don't show any microneedling pen cleared for ordinary home use, so this one is best left to a clinic.

Not FDA-cleared
Microneedling pens pierce the skin. That carries real risks of infection and scarring. This pen is sold for home use, but the FDA sources we cite do not show ordinary over-the-counter clearance for home use. Talk to a licensed clinician before using it. Never share or reuse cartridges, and use only sterile, single-use needles. Read the FDA's consumer guidance.

Specs & regulatory status

FDA statusNot FDA-cleared
The sources we cite (microneedlingreview.com's lookup against FDA records, and the FDA consumer update) show no microneedling pen sold for home use as cleared for over-the-counter use.
FDA record or source

"Not FDA-cleared" means a documented source says this device isn't cleared. FDA clearance is not FDA approval, and a listed specification isn't proof that a device works. How we check FDA status.
