Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask

Shark CryoGlow LED Face Mask product photo

Product image: Shark product page.

The Shark CryoGlow is an LED mask that combines red, blue and infrared light with built-in under-eye cooling.

Shark lists a 6-minute Better Aging mode (red and infrared) and an 8-minute Skin Clearing mode (blue, infrared and red), plus cooling pads under the eyes. The FDA record shows a 510(k) clearance (K242796). Some bundles add a charging stand.

Under-eye cooling is uncommon among the masks we list. At Best Buy and Amazon it's at the lower end on price among masks with a matched 510(k). Shark doesn't publish its power output to buyers, and we haven't found a third-party measurement of it yet.

FDA record or source

"FDA-cleared" means we matched this product to a 510(k) record: the FDA cleared it as substantially equivalent to an existing device for its labelled use. FDA clearance is not FDA approval, and a listed specification isn't proof that a device works. How we check FDA status.

Terms on this page

nm
Nanometres, the unit for a light's wavelength (its colour). Red light is roughly 620–700 nm; near-infrared is above 700 nm.
mW/cm²
Milliwatts per square centimetre: how much light power reaches each square centimetre of skin (irradiance).
510(k)
The FDA premarket notification route. A cleared 510(k) means the FDA found the device substantially equivalent to one already on the market. It is not FDA approval.
