The Solawave 4-in-1 Skincare Wand is a small handheld wand that combines red light (630 nm), gentle warmth, galvanic current and vibration massage.

A session takes 12 minutes: the wand buzzes every 3 minutes to move you to the next area and switches off automatically. Solawave says a charge lasts up to 90 minutes (about 7 sessions) and suggests 3–5 uses a week with its activating serum, which is sold separately.

It's low-priced for this site and small enough to travel with. It covers a small spot at a time, and Solawave doesn't publish its light output. Two Solawave wand 510(k)s exist, but we haven't confirmed which one covers this model.

FDA record or source

"Brand says cleared" means the brand or a retailer says it's FDA-cleared, but we haven't matched this exact product to a 510(k) record. FDA clearance is not FDA approval, and a listed specification isn't proof that a device works. How we check FDA status.

Terms on this page

nm
Nanometres, the unit for a light's wavelength (its colour). Red light is roughly 620–700 nm; near-infrared is above 700 nm.
510(k)
The FDA premarket notification route. A cleared 510(k) means the FDA found the device substantially equivalent to one already on the market. It is not FDA approval.
